Rogers
Structural Parts for Tire Curing Presses
For
fifty years Rogers Industrial Products has been a quality manufacturer
and supplier of new and rebuilt tire curing presses, components and parts.
As part of our press renovation services, Rogers analyzes each structural
part of a used press for its strength, design, and structural integrity
to determine if it requires replacement or repair to meet current customer
performance requirements. To differentiate from normal replacement parts
or press components, structural parts include the following:
-
Crank Gears or Bull Gears
- Side Links
- Top Beams or Top Links
- Side Plates
- Press Bases
- Mold Adjustment Screws and Nuts
- Bolsters
- Platens
- Steam Domes |

Rogers not only can provide a direct replacement for structural parts
on most vintage McNeil or NRM presses but can help in determining solutions
or alternatives to direct replacement that may enhance process performance.
These projects can involve:
- Upgrades
to "Infinite-Life" part design. Rogers pioneered industry
development of infinite life press performance. This term normally refers
to performance exceeding one million cycles. Rogers SS1 Tire Curing
Press and SB1 Slide-Back Curing are designed for this extended life.
- Analyses
of cracks or excessive wear. Rogers can test parts and components and
recommend repair or replacement.
- Conversion
from steam dome to platen cure
- Increased
daylight kits
- Stronger
Adjusting screws for heavier or segmented molds
